robot vacuum cleaners reviews and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more powerful. They pass our cleaning tests, and can handle various flooring. Find models that allow you to select between several modes, utilize their charging docks to automatically empty, and clean up the stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an app that lets you save schedules, maps and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and customize the S1's behavior.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum flooring in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms, as well as carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive right up to walls without colliding with them, and even managed to drive across raised room thresholds with no issue, though it occasionally had trouble navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on the flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it reached carpet or rugs.
The docking station of the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and fills its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for around twelve cleaning sessions before it has to be cleaned, although it will differ based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming blocked. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. However, overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other models that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a great choice for your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction and comes with numerous innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than just dragging a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when required.
The robot is simple to install and use, with a clear interface that guides you through the procedure. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are also two water tanks that are automatically emptied or filled. It also has a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily removes most debris and even the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are quite good, though it can get stuck on small mats and rugs at my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). The mopping capabilities are quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spinning mops that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to just dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when needed. The mops can also be replenished at the top of the station as required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the best robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is equally effective on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our tests' most filthy areas well, and keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other messes. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart, navigating narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can move from one room to another without reversing direction which is a great feature for homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a large margin between obstacles. This can result in miss-hit spots.

The interface of the app is simple and well-organized. It should be simple to use for both novices and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings. You can also adjust the suction power, mop settings, and view 2D and 3-D maps. It can be controlled through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri which allows you to keep an eye on its progress from any location. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video supervision. You'll require a stable internet connection to use it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are great at removing dirt and debris, but they aren't able to reach all dust. vacuum bot is why it's crucial to make use of your regular vacuum once a week, especially to pick up dust in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop designed to do exactly that. It's simple to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it doesn't have mopping capabilities and has an aluminum body.
The Q5 remains one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've seen at this price even though it's not able to clean your floor. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It also has a clever application that lets you choose your floor type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with a 2700Pa power to take on pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we test that didn't have trouble with high-pile carpets and area rug, but it was unable to pick up cables or kitty litter and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested. It also has a unique method to map your home, which really helps it get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. It also stores dust in a bigger dustbin which means you need empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters, which reduces the costs associated with using the device. The robot can recognize carpets and increase suction if needed. The app also allows you to mark off areas that you want it to stay clear of and is a great feature.
